Developing an iOS app seems to be very simple but working on the right idea and design is the key to success! With over millions of games available in the app store, it often happens that many new apps bear resemblance to already existing ones. But Dave Alder the developer of Animal Trackers has come up with a completely unique idea and one which is quite interesting too.

Animal Trackers is a game were you have to track another animal hidden in the lawn or other area by following his trails in a limited time. Play on behalf of team tracker in this game that’s spread over 50 challenging levels in different environments and let the other team quarry know who the boss is. Guide foxy from Team Tracker towards other animals of the other team.

There are about 10 different types of animals from Team Quarry to be found over the 50 challenges. The idea of Animal Trackers is fresh and different from others but the game isn’t perfect and falls behind in a lot of areas; like clues or options to skip the levels. It does manage to get you hooked but many a times there were instances while playing the game when I realized ‘What am I even doing?’

The game definitely needs power ups and more strategy that may bring more life to it. The graphics and sound of this game are amazing and suits the game well but as mentioned before the gameplay needs some refining. Animal trackers can be played in 3 difficulty levels and also features GameCenter to track your scores.

The idea behind Animal Tracker is not well supported by the gameplay but if you still would want to give it a try then you can download it from the App Store for $1.99.
