The graphics of the game are now in high-resolution HD and have undergone major improvements as compared to older versions. The controls and inputs of the game have been fine tuned a little more this time for accuracy and that gives the game a more realistic feel. The game follows the career of a baseball player who starts of as an amateur and how he then improves his skills and enters into the world of fame, money and business.
In terms of additions, this ones got newer locations where the player can purchase items, change his appearance, and get recognized. Players have a dedicated coach and a manager who guides you through the game. The tutorial is also excellent.
Baseball 2012 has the two modes, that of a pitcher and a batter. In both these modes, a regular season consists of 45 games plus one if you make it to the next consecutive season. The maximum time a player can play for within the game is 10 years.
GameEvil has done a superb job by taking the game to the next level without messing too much with the basics of the game. Baseball Superstars 2012 has a few new game modes but the one which we liked the most was the Match Mode where you can challenge anyone in the world.
The players need to earn skills, achievements and unlock their special moves, which would add up to their profile and it could be matched with other players playing around the world using Gamecenter. G points are ways by which you can unlock many exciting features on the game, it can be earned while you play the game or also can also be bought for $0.99
