Hasta La Muerte is now available in the App Store and BulkyPix brings this game to us. This game developer has been quite busy as we get to see atleast a release from them every week. “Chicken Doom” released by them the previous week was quite a disappointment but “Hasta la muerte” looks promising and we hope the developers have done a great job on this.

Hasta la Muerte for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch

Hasta la Muerte Image 2Did you know “Hasta La Muerte” refers to “Until Death” in Spanish?? BulkyPix sure have made this game unique atleast by the title given to it if not the gameplay. In the game you would play the character of Soulpets, your job would be collect the free souls and keep in mind that you will only collect their soul when the right time has come, so you must wait for a timer to appear above them and if they time out before you confront them then they become lost souls, beware of the lost souls as your energy in every level of the game is limited and so is the time. You would also tend to come across a few levels where you have to beat scientist machines and when needed your responsibility will also be to destroy the lost souls, the most inspiring moment in the game is the boss battle’s they are really awe-inspiring. Hasta La Muerte does not only look lovely and sound nice but is a treat to play, the storyline is different and the gameplay is fun and distinct from all the hustle and bustle of app store.

Hasta la Muerte Image 1This 2D game contains about 20 levels to play and we hope the developers release a few more in their next update of the game, the game is diverse and every level is got a twist in it, plenty of power ups to accomplish that would make the ride even smooth and keep in mind to uncover the mystery for get rewarded with special bonus and hidden objects, the game is very simple to play and is a great work done by BulkyPix. The artwork gone into the game is exquisite but similar to that of Fancy Pants that was developed by Brad Borne and is not limited to iOS but covers other platforms too. Analog Controls of the game needs improvisation as it gets tiring to control the character mostly when you running towards the target or when needed to take a turn from the lost souls but the tilt action is better and very precise. The music of the game is a bit dark sided and very appropriate to the theme of the game, Sound effects plays an crucial role in every game and here the developers have succeeded in getting the most of it. The game also features Gamecenter support! “Hasta La Muerte” is available for $0.99 and is totally worth it, if you had plans to play a unique this week then this app would be the right pick.
