There is a unique mix of anticipation and excitement when you are reviewing a game from a maker like ‘Triniti Interactive’. You know the game ought to be good and at the same time you hang to this hope that they don’t screw this one up. And thankfully, this time again the guys at Triniti do not disappoint.

MiniFlyer is a simple arcade adventure game where you gotta keep doing one thing, go up! Take control of you MiniFlyer as he is propelled off the underground and manoeuvre him so he collects as many coins whilst avoiding obstacles. The coins act like the fuel that keeps powering the boosters in his jetpack so he continues going up.

Although my thoughts might differ with a lot of our readers but it’s not one bit surprising that a game this simple turned out to be so good. I might even go as far as saying that I won’t be surprised to see this on top of the app store’s charts in no time at all. Amateur game developers – if you’re listening, take notes. This is how you make simple, immersive and super entertaining games!

Getting back to the game, the tilt controls used to guide our MiniFlyer work seamlessly. The visuals and the sounds are great and you also get to chose between 6 different avatars for your MiniFlyer. Watch out for the level indicator on the top right to turn blue to get your MiniFlyer a nice boost.

Whats more, with 3 unique mechs and an upgradable booster rocket, the only thing that’s in between you and this mind blowing game is 99 cents! I’d say that’s definitely worth some edge of the seat moments of unlimited vertical flight!
