About the game
My Army from Distinctive Developments Ltd. is a fun filled action/arcade game which is simple yet addictive. The world is apparently at war (as usual) and your army needs you now more than ever (not again!).

The game is set in the midst of a war scene. Players must control their army through the battlefield, collect ammo and rescue prisoners of war while dodging bullets and manoeuvring their men through electrocuted barbed wire fences, land mines, dropping bombs and missiles.
The controls feel efficient and are pretty simple to understand as well. Tilting left or right guides your squad through the field. Ammo collection and rescuing POWs is done by simply having your men walk through the ammo crates or POW asking for help. Incoming bomb shells can be detonated by tapping on them before they fall. You can also change the directions of bombs targeted at your squad by swiping.
Other notable options under the main game menu include objectives and war progress that keeps track of you objectives, army points and the major cities that your squad has recaptured as you advance through the game.
You can recruit your own band of brothers from Facebook and My Army also includes full game center support. On the whole, My Army may appear repetitive and boring but amidst all the action when the rockets are heading your way, the bombs are raining down, and your men need that last crate of ammo, this game is bound to give you the “Damn I nearly got it this time!” moment.
