Niko is an adventure game with sling shot actions available only on the iOS platform. The story of the game relies on the character “NIKO” who has to find and release his captured friends. While playing the game, you would come across many exciting things to do and achievements to collect.

There are two type of controls available. One is the orientation control and the other one is direction control. The character of the game is very well controlled and the graphics are excellent.

The game has 3 Worlds. In every world there are 9 levels and to complete each level, Niko has to find and kill the red button.

To complete the game, users have to complete the World I and rescue Tucco. To complete World II users have to rescue Poko. To complete World III users have to rescue Zuki. There is also a surprise level in which Niko has to rescue Dash.

In the locked version of the game, you can play 7 levels of World I after which you are required to pay $1.99 to unlock the rest. For people who are used to game center on iOS, this game would be disappointing as it uses a different source from OpenFeint.

Niko is available for free on iTunes but the concept of unlocking the game for $1.99 isn’t quite understandable. Limiting the users to play only the first few levels brings it to the same category of a paid app.
