Total Toadz is a different approach by Phoolish games to make learning look fun in this fast paced game. Many of the developers out there come out with unusual ideas to keep their games as unique as possible, a few do exceptionally well and the others fail but in this game, all we have to say is that the idea is novel but the gameplay is a little dull.

Total Toadz Game Review

Total Toadz is about feeding our hungry toads; the idea of the game is to get a competitive score and that can be achieved by feeding the toads. Every bug to be eaten has a positive or negative symbol; similarly even the toads keep changing the polarity. So you need to make sure that the toads eat the bugs with the correct symbol to sum up the score and not to deduct the points.

For example if the bug carries -5 then the toad should have the negative to sign to add 5 points to the score, if the polarity is different then -5 will be deducted from the score. It’s quite tricky because the bugs keep coming in fast and even if a single bug touches the water the game ends. Total Toadz is a game for people who would like to get good with numbers and also an apt game for kids but the rest will find it boring.

This mathematical puzzle game would have been more lifeless if it wasn’t for the characters and the vivid colored toads. The only complaint of the design are the tap controls in the game, we felt it needs to be more responsive as it does not keep up with pace of the game. No matter how many times to tap the screen the toads seemed to ignore us. Total Toadz is limited to a few audiences and requires more add-ons like power-ups and extra gaming modes to make it more challenging.
